Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Council:

CSTC is a national agency founded in 2011 to plan for, and support the advancement of cognitive science and technologies in Iran. The council promotes research in cognitive science, and development of its related technologies and services by supporting scientific examination of mind, brain and cognition.

The International Brain Research Organization:

IBRO is the global federation of neuroscience organizations that aims to promote and support neuroscience around the world through training, teaching, collaborative research, advocacy and outreach.

The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies:

The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies is a European federation of scientific societies for basic scientists and physicians whose research is focused on the brain and nervous system.

The Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences:

IPM (previously Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics) is an advanced public research institute for studying fundamental sciences including Cognitive Sciences and Neuroscience in Tehran, Iran.

The Iranian Neuroscience Association:

INA is a scientific association that has been established with the aim of establishing communication and exchange of views between researchers, specialists and other experts active in various fields of neuroscience and supporting various programs and researches in this field.

Neurosciences Research Center:

NSRC of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences is one of the pioneering neurosciences research centers in Iran, within according to annual evaluations.

Research Center of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences:

It’s mission is Development and launch of new advanced techniques and extending research and collaboration with research centers inside and outside the country.

Faculty of Advanced Medical Sciences:

FAMS is established in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences offer courses on Neuroscience and cognition, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology etc. and aims to grant multidisciplinary higher education and researches in a diverse fields of advanced biomedical sciences.

Road Traffic Injury Research Center:

RTIRC has officially begun its activities in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences since 2012. It aims promotion of the community health level, by carrying out practical research on promoting the knowledge of road traffic injury at provincial, national, regional and international levels.

The Comprehensive Autism Center of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences:

CACTUMSc has been operating since the winter of 2015 under the management of the Psychiatry Department of the University of Medical Sciences and with the cooperation of various faculty groups. The main purpose of setting up this center is to integrate educational, research, treatment and management activities in the field of autism spectrum disorders.

Iranian Society of Physiology and Pharmacology (ISPP):

ISPP is a national non-profit professional organization committed to the advancement of physiologists and pharmacologists. Founded in 1968 in Tehran, the Society provides a forum for leadership and exchange of information to stimulate discussion and collaboration among physiologists and pharmacologists active in all aspects of their professions.

The Scientific Association of Iranian Psychiatrists

It was established in 1966 with the efforts of several psychiatrists and psychiatric veterans of Iran with the aim of presenting scientific, research and professional activities of psychiatry and as a non-governmental and non-profit association. Today’s psychiatry in Iran owes its founders and administrators.

Iranian Association of Neurologists

For the first time, the Iranian Association of Neurologists started its activities in 1991 under the name of the Iranian Association of Neurology and with the efforts of Professor Jalal Barimani. The association holds annual neurology conferences and is the only organization with more than 1,500 neurologists. The main goal of this association is to promote education and improve the quality of neurology in Iran.

International association for the Study of Pain:

IASP brings together scientists, clinicians, health-care providers, and policymakers to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide and its Iran chapter is active in the country.

Federation of Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Society

The purpose of the Federation is to promote the advancement of neuroscience research and education in the Asian Oceanian regions, which include Asian countries, Australia, New Zealand and Islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The Federation shall aim also at contributing to the advancement of neuroscience worldwide.
